Hello and welcome! I’m Jacqueline Damon, and I’m so thrilled you’ve found your way here to Tweed Valley Textile Company—my online home for sharing everything I’ve learnt and loved over decades of my textile art practice and fashion industry career.

This website is a place where I’ll be teaching, demonstrating, and documenting the wide and wonderful world of textile art and design. From eco leaf printing and natural dyeing to felting, textile sculpture, patternmaking, fashion design, and sewing skills, I’m opening my studio and my skillset to inspire, educate, and support your creative journey.

I’ve spent my life immersed in making—whether it’s experimenting with eucalyptus leaves on silk, exploring surface design and felt textures, creating fashion collections, or teaching others how to confidently install a zipper or draft a pattern from scratch. This site brings all of that together.

Whether you're a beginner wanting to dip your toes into textile art techniques, a fellow creative looking to extend your skills, or a teacher seeking new resources, I hope this space becomes a source of ideas, learning, and encouragement.
